Artistic Research and the Digital Sphere.

Work Practices, Identity Building and Positioning.

A flatlay photograph of various items relating to artistic research and digital culture: notebooks with scribbled notes and drawings, a copy of Ulrich Bröckling's monograph "Das unternehmerische Selbst" with a pen stuck inside, a fountain pen, two colourful Roland Aira synthesizers, a keyboard, a webcam, two RAM sticks and a clip-on microphone.

How does the digital sphere influence the way artistic knowledge is produced, presented and valued? This project investigates production conditions of the artistic doctorate and the structural friction between physical work-in-progress, institutional logics and digital visibility demands.

Funded by the Austrian Science Fund (FWF) [ESPRIT Program]. Hosted at the University of Applied Arts Vienna.
